Standard Rig

These are the materials you'll need to make the most simple (sometimes bestworking) rig.

Stap 1

First make a simple loop and put a knot in it...

Stap 2

Afterwards thread the end tackle through the back of the eye of the hook. That way the loop lies on top of the hookbend...

Stap 3

Now take the hook with the loop between thumb and indexfinger and start to turn the other end of the endtackle 5 times arround the hook, moving away from the eye ( You'll see that the eye is bent in a sertain way. make shure to start your turn in the bend of the eye and not the other way around. This way you'll prevent cutting in to your end tackle)

Stap 4

Now thread the end tackle through the back of the eye again. Moisten with seliva and start pulling it tight.

Stap 5

You've just made a no-knot knot...

Stap 6

Now for the final part you just need to attach a swivel to the rig. First decide how long your rig needs to be. (10 to 12cm will do in most cases) Make a loop at this spot and hold between thumb and indexfinger...

Stap 7

Place the swivel over the loop...

Stap 8

Now make a simple grannyknot with the swivel inside...

Stap 9

Take the swivel trough the loop, moisten with seliva and tighten...

Stap 10

All you need to do now is to clip away the rough edges and your done...

Stap 12

 Have Fun !!!
