Maggots
Fun to use with pellets. The white bodies of the maggots have a high attraction on a dark bottom.
These days you can buy a so called 'maggot ring'. These are available in different sizes. You can mount the maggot ring on the hair. Afterwards you can put maggots on it.
Casters
Casters are mainly used in groundbait, but you can also use them together with pellets or particles. Just like maggots, casters are whitefish sensitive, but all the commotion those fish make in the water attracts carp. Just look at the many underwater footages you can buy in stores...
Worm
That good old worm...
You can always search for worms in a field. All you need is a pitchfork. Or you can always buy them in a tackleshop...
Take your rig, put a boilie on the hair and put a couple of worms on the hook. This wriggling bunch of worms gives an extra attraction to your bait.
Clams
Haven't tried them before??? Give 'm a try!!!
Take a few raw clams, remove the shells and put two or three on the hook.
I use clams myself in the boiliemix. First, i cook them in the shell. (this makes it easier to sepperate them from the shell) Then i put them in a blender and fill that blender up with the cookingliquid until the clams are covered with the liquid. Turn the blender on and the resulting mush, i use as an additive in my boiliemixes. This adds so much attraction to the boilies...
